In this black-and-white photograph, the silhouettes of three women are captured, their elongated and striking shadows projected onto the ground like a silent and captivating dance. Taken during a carnival parade in Gothenburg, they emerge as spectral figures of movement and the vibrant joy that Brazilian carnival evokes, even thousands of kilometers away from its tropical roots.
The absence of color invites a different immersion: without the vibrant exuberance of carnival, what remains are the forms and expressions of the bodies, which, in the anonymity of their shadows, acquire a unique universality. These contours suggest freedom, elation, and camaraderie, expressing the contagious essence of the celebration. Upon receipt of the returned item, we will fully examine it and notify you via email, within a reasonable period of time, whether you are entitled to a return. If you are entitled to a return, we will refund your purchase price and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment.
